einPrivacy
The short version: everything you put into ein stays on your iPhone. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only thing that ever leaves your phone is an invite code, and only if you use one.
Stays on your phone
- Promises, sessions and your record. Stored on your device in ein's own storage, shared only with ein's widgets and Screen Time extensions.
- Screen Time. ein uses Apple's Screen Time framework to shield the apps you pick. Apple hands ein opaque tokens instead of app names or usage, so ein never learns which apps you use or for how long.
- Apple Health. If you allow it, ein reads workouts and sleep to check health promises. ein never writes to Health, and this data never leaves your device.
- Notifications and alarms are scheduled locally.
Invites
When you create or use an invite, ein stores the following on our server:
- the invite code;
- a random ID for your install, not tied to your name, email or Apple ID;
- whether the invite counted, meaning whether 3 promises were kept in the first 7 days. We record only that yes or no, never what the promises were.
We use this only to grant premium. It's never sold or shared. Delete ein and email us, and we'll remove it.
The website
joinein.club sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs for security.
